Oh well guess I will be officially sick soon.
Anyway, joined NUS Choir formally last night. Instead of Tenor 1 in AJC, now I am a Tenor 2! Haha... Voice cracked once again?! No lah... not feeling well these days so sounds like I have bigger balls :P.. So, imagine having to learn 6 songs + 1 new song in a matter of 3 hours. From 6.30pm to 9.30pm. AND I am down with flu, with my nose mercilessly leaking. But I have to say it is really very fun! Gosh... that also means I am gonna sell tickets again... sigh... another NUS Choir Concert coming up on 4th March!!! Oh well in total I think I will have 13 songs to learn. Argh!!!
Am I crazy???
I think I am.
Well, thinking back about Hall Choir... heard comments about the songs being "difficult" to learn. Really feel like taking them down to NUS Choir practice one day and listen for themselves. Then only they will understand what is the meaning of "difficult". Sigh... encountered some attitude problems also. Actually so far there's only this guy la...never inform in advance when he will not come for practices. Despite my mass-mail scolding at everyone's irresponsibility, plain ignorance. Nevermind. During the practice he kept quiet all the time and didnt want to sing. When I told him to sing out aloud, he talked back at me! Well ok it might not sound to be a big deal but if you have seen the way he answered me, you would have understood why I make this such a big fuss. Anyway I dont really care about him anymore. Just waiting for the chance to kick him out if I can. Have been holding this for too long and just don't test my patience man. As Amplitude approaches I will go really mad.
And guess I have had enough with Hall activities by now. The attitude shown by the members just does not reflect the passion I have for this Hall Choir. Not all la of course. Some are very good and I am impressed. Generalization is not fair to them.
*coughx*
aiii gotta learn so many new songs!!!!
Dunno why so many Japanese songs this time. Don't find it fanciful tho. (Sorry la the owner of this blog is no fond of Japan. Not anything Japanese please. Although their sushi and chawanmushi is delicious and they are generally polite... but I still don't like them.) |
