It's been really a long while since I last blogged something that is worthy of blogging.
So many things have happened in this month that I really do not know where to start from. On the personal level, from final final exams to moving out of campus to going back home and coming back to Singapore. The feeling now has been completely different. All the academic stress and burden that always haunt me whenever I make my trips back home have once again finally removed. But of course, at the turning point in life comes also times to make decisions. There are a lot of things where we can't really see into the future but nevertheless, choices still have to be made. Along the way, there will be corresponding gains that one earns and also sacrifices that is the opportunity cost. I knew this fact very well ever since I made the decision to study at somewhere away from home since I was 15. And well, life is all about choices, isn't it.
I feel really grateful that during these years of my life, I really managed to discover a lot of qualities in myself that was previously unknown. Good and bad qualities included of course. Amidst pursuing full force to realize my childhood ambition, I also managed to discover some of my side passions, wouldnt want to name them here.
And really, what I find much more true than the universal truth, is the saying that as one climbs higher, he would realize how much more he did not previously see. And in the midst of trying to be unique and all different from the others, perhaps sometimes it would be just as equally cool to tame down a little and enjoy the company of the crowd. Living in the limelight just don't seem to suit me afterall. |
