It's fun to be missing in action for almost 2 weeks!
Ok my Math isn't that good afterall. Maybe not 2 weeks. or 9 days?
Anyway, now back in reaction. Sorry lah. This is what happens to you when you have too much chemistry in your head for the past 7 years. Even in the holidays the dreadful stuffs continue to haunt you at a constant rate, independent of the wavenumber of electromagnetic radiation of any form.
Well the few days have been particularly fun and memorable, and learnt a lot of things from Resonance in Chlamp 2006 and Rearrangement Workshop. Did I just mentioned rearrangement? Oops I mean the Arrangement Workshop. See, my disease again. So yup learnt a lot of things. And many of the points being brought up are actually easier to be understood when you really try all out for an arrangement. I did try one myself, took me about 40 days to complete (overall time span, not the effective time spent.) this arrangement of my own. Not an easy song to start with according to an elite senior in the group, but its a good try I guess. Hope I can still participate in Amplitude with that song in the coming year even if I cannot be physically present.
Chlamp 2006 was not fun, but extraordinarily awesome! Kudos to all seniors who have put in lots of time and sweat to organise the camp in the wonderful Chalet. It was indeed a wonderful time and got to know many of the Resonance members much better. Guess what? I've earned myself a nickname from Chlamp (in particular, the Extremely Difficult EnD games of charade). Thanks to the movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (卧虎藏龙). For more information check out

Having lots of fun playing around, learning new games such as Citadel (something like Bang) and talking cock overnight with my fellow RFYs, now its time for some serious action: Practice like crazy for the carolling gigs! To think about it, it is indeed actually my first ever public gig in my whole life. Singing solo in front of the bigger audience! Hope won't screw it up bah. haha...
Anyway, to anyone who reads this blog and are interested, the gigs that I will be participating in would be as follows:
1. Bukit Batok Grassroots, 16 Dec 2006 (Saturday), 6.30pm and 9.00pm
2. Chijmes, 21 Dec 2006 (Thursday), 7.00pm - 11.00pm
And my family is coming dwon to Singapore for the weekend from Saturday. And there are also carolling going on in my Hall Choir. And there are clashes to the schedule now.
And now? Time to practice for the gig. Going to Clubroom for practice.
hallo, ich wuensche dir ein frohes Weihnachten und Neujahr! :)
