A Day of Silence
Ok... so another day has gone. Today I broke the record of my entire educational life, after staying in Central Library from 9.30am-9.30pm. Exactly 12 hours (not continuously, of course). And.... studying only ONE subject: the mighty Organic Chemistry. Basic. Not acidic. The progress? So far so good. Now I just want to get it over and done with, and then focus on how should i pack up my stuffs and prepare for the trip to Germany in June! Does this show enough my attitude towards exams? Gosh... really cant believe it... and I am only in First Year! (Going to be Second Year tho... hmm is this the norm? I wonder..)
Found out something today that really reflects the reality of this world. Hmm ok maybe I am just being very naive and I really dont know that. What can I do on finding that my beloved Hall of Residence does not really provide any space for us to keep our stuffs during the holiday for free. Yeah... Stupid rite? Nothing is free in this world. In order to find a place, how? Rent a room to keep them? Yeah rite, I am not going to bow down to the system. What a humanitarian way to take care of the students' welfare. So tell me anyone, is it that the Hall is already kind enough to provide me a place to stay? I should just pay for my stay according to my room type and my meal plan, and thats it? No other benefits? Perhaps there are, as long as I pay more! Pay, pay and pay. Yes. What happened when there are so many ants wanting to share the residence with us? They turn half blind. Spray insecticides. Full stop. They only know how to suck up money like vacuum cleaner. No money no talk. Where do all the money and the surcharges go? Someone's pocket? Very well. And they expect the students to be loyal to the Hall and be proud of it. Come on, tell me, on what freaking basis?
Well, maybe I am just too naive to have seen this fact only now. Yeah, they (the administration of course) can always say such things as: You guys are adults already, and you should be responsible for your own belongings. Afterall, we don't need to justify anything to you.
All right, you win. Whatever. Thats the ultimate excuse. What else can I say?
Silence shall now predominate the atmosphere.
