Idling
Notice a trend? Being common for 2 years, my blog entries are at the lowest from the months of May to July. Haha... ok lah this roughly coincides with the 3-month summer vacation. Hmm although it is summer all year round at this part of the world, it is still considered a "summer" vacation. Probably planned to overlap with that in most other Universities in the Northern Hemisphere? More on the English-speaking side I guess.
Well, not to say this 2 weeks have been busy but many things had happened and stirred my thoughts. First of all, I took up a challenge - that is going back to my previous college to do relief teaching for about 8 days. A challenge as I am not teaching the subject I am comfortable in. Well I guess one should not always live in his own comfort zone? So, time to challenge myself a bit. Tomorrow I will be going there and try out if it would be part of my list of consideration of job. Good pay tho. Hehe.

Mungkin Nanti
A very nice Malay song. Introduced by my friends when i sang K with them. Hehe... by Peterpan, an Indonesian band. The song is actually in Indonesian but doesnt differ much to Malay anyway.

Translations of lyrics will be up soon.

Of Cherishing and Appreciation of Life
Life is unpredictable, isn't it.

One can just sleep and not waking up forever. For no reason.

And one can just suddenly collapse and pass away without showing any prior signs of bad health or anything similar to it.

So are all these determined by the telomeres in every single cell in our body? I doubt the accuracy of the fact.

Perhaps when you really take some time to sit down and contemplate a little, life isn't really that simple and in fact, it is much more complex than you could imagine. It's just as complicated as the brain. Plus, life has one more characteristic - unpredictable.

No one can tell exactly what will happen next in their life.

Durian craze
Guess I have been leaving this blog here idling for too long. Haha... Most of my friends would understand I guess... when you are at home you tend not to use ur brain and move so much.

And, it is exactly 2 weeks since I last blogged. hehehe.... felt a sense of achievement. But I don't think I am that regular a blogger yet la I guess. sometimes just dun feel like penning down anything. Or sometimes the thoughts are not very suitable to be penned down here. You know... free speech isn't really allowed on this side of the world.

haha anyway, this is what I have been doing the last 2 weeks:

1. Drove up to Penang with 2 of my friends! It's a 2D1N driving exodus. Just a short trip before my friend starts his job proper. Well it was definitely a good trip. Hehe... especially get to drive! Stopped by in Ipoh to meet a long lost friend for a short catch up before continuing our trip up to Penang. Travelled a total of about 700 km not counting within the Penang Island itself. Finally got to pamper my stomach for a while! All the Prawn Mee, Char Kuay Teow, Asam Laksa.... wonderful experience! muahaha

2. Drove down to Melaka last weekend! For a night of Durian extravaganza. Finally all this while get to taste Durian! No words in ANY language can describe the joy of eating durian! hahaha... Really it is the KING of fruits. Imagine the moment you put the succulent durian fruit into your mouth and it just fills up your mouth... without leaving even a trace of air space. This - is the RM 10-per-KG quality of durian. What about the taste of durian??? When the succulent fills your mouth it is just.... hmm okay it is perfectly appropriate to use this word

If you don't believe, you can go and try out yourself. For those who thinks durian stinks and its pungent - dude you are missing lots of fun and enjoyment ler. Muahaha.
