No one and not any word in any language can describe the level of my anxiety, excitement and how much i look forward to this immersion trip. It is simply... like that lor... :P anyways, hmmm did some packing today. Dunno why am I just being lazy, or I have packed enough? Just keep on have the feeling that I have finished packing, but another subconscious side of me is like trying to tell me that I am forgetting something. Hmm... just dont know how to describe lah. How would my host family be? How many children do they have? How many rabbits do they have? I just hope I won't offend them in anyway throughout my stay with them. If not this will be just simply memalukan. Seems that my blog is gettting shorter and shorter and shorter... haha... issit that my '3 minutes of heat' in blogging is already on the waning??? Guess time can only prove the truth beneath this. 3 more days! By Sunday I will be in Singapore!
Well I must admit that laziness had started to take roots deep into my bones, attaching to every single strand of nerve and soon will reach my spinal cord. By that time I will be officially be a lazy bump! Anyways, parents came back from Perth, Australia last night. Don't know what happened but they bought back LOTS and LOTS of chocolates. The most important issue to emphasize now would be => sweet, crunchy, delicious and taste-bud stimulating Nougat!!! argh.... just simply cant resist it, and yes yes I'm going to gain lots of weight yar... i know... but I am too lazy to care now! Counting down from now, 6 days to going Germany. Hmm.... really have no idea but really look forward to seeing my host family. How would they look like? How would their hospitality like? Alles keine Ahnung for now... but going to get some souvenirs for them soon. What souvenirs? hehehe... something unique to Malaysia of course.. not Durian lah... how to bring.. cant even pass the customs examination. (Should launch a campaign against the discrimination against Durian.. dont understand why so many people just hate Durians soo much. They are the fruit from Heaven! Hahaa... just simply irresistable!) Okiez anyways... after such a long procrastination and slacking and mushroom growing (think can harvest and keep stock for the next 5 years at least), finally rushed myself to come up with a rough itenary (sent for proofreading and amendments now) and see should there be any other changes made. Haha... just took another 30 mins to finsih up this blog... made another amendment to the itenary after chatting with a junior who's currently studying in Germany. hehe... ok lah time to sleep now zzzz
Would like to emphasize that the title does not mean this is Friday at all. How come fried day? This is the first day of my life frying rice on my own for lunch!!! It went on smooth at first.. put some oil, then garlic, then onion, then rice... then mix and mix and mix... the fragrance could be detected when the garlic was being fried. Hmm.... here's not an expression of self-satisfaction or what, coz the disaster comes next --> Addition of eggs directly to the fried rice, and i forgot to put salt! Hahaha..... When i added the eggs in, the fried rice looked a little gluey--> not as shiny as it was already. Hmm... too bad huh... then i just happen to take out a small pinch of the fried rice and taste if its ready to be served... haha... then only i realise i forgot to add salt! Quickly I tried to add a little salt then start mixing, but guess it was too much rice and too late liao... :P Overall not bad lah, just that the fried rice taste like plain rice; in short it tasted plain! Haha... Sorry taste bud...
After 3 consecutive days of Ramli, today decided to let my tummy get some rest :)
Seems that I only care about food now. Ya what else can I worry about? lolx.
Well actually did some household chores la... swept and mopped the floor a bit, washed the toilet... continue embarking on my conquest to conquer ancient China (its a game called Romance of the Three Kingdoms if you have not realized) , though I am still very far from building a strong empire. Lolx
Perhaps can try some cooking during the weekends in the new sem... wondering if anyone else would be interested in joining in... cooking is fun! ;)
Just finished a big, juicy, delicious and nicely cooked Ramli burger.. hmmm..... bought it at the stall near USJ 4 Shell and it was Beef Special with Cheese... imagine.... beef wrapped in an egg with a piece of molten cheese.... it was just so superb the taste. So superb that it just cannot be described accurately in words. After 2 semesters of terrible ordeal in the wonderfully pathetic canteens and dining halls in the campus, finally my poor taste buds can get spoiled until at least mid July... umm... assuming the foods in Germany will be as good? dunno... probably by July I will miss rice again... haha Anyways, met my SMKSJ frens today at Tanjung. All of them still look basically the same. Some I have not met for a long time already. However, the ambience was very bad. It was very warm, stuffy and smoky thanks to the considerate smokers. Usually there are seats outside in the middle of the road, but the MPSJ is guarding tightly, preparing to collect fines once they start putting tables and chairs on the road. Is it that they have finished spending the 'gate taxes' (or Cukai Pintu, wonder if it only applies to MPSJ only?), and now its time to look out for some alternative 'sources of income'? Well ya of course its not very nice to put it this way.. but anyway, nice meeting the old friends.. as always ;) wondering what the rest are doing now?
Ok... its been days since I last blogged. Not that I had been busy but just plainly lazy. Lazy until juice also come out. Haha... try translate that into Cantonese, the sentence will make sense to you.
Hmmm it has been qite exciting these last few days. First of all my first time driving around KL when i met my Hall frens in Times Square last Thursday, after sending my parents off to the airport. Hee hee... then went for a brief moments of mamak before sending off 4 girls back their home :P It was a good driving experience tho. Wondering when would I be able to drive like this agian... so shiok... from within KL to Kepong to Sri Petaling back to USJ. Haha... i think my parents will kill me if they know this. But its not safe for the girls to take public transport at hours like 11pm, so i'd rather send them back, since i have the transport.
After2 weeks of mushroom growing, I start to wonder the purpose of my life. Haha... well well, U always start to think a lot when you have nothing to do, dont u? Guess I'll put on weight again... but I'll try not to. Haha... Sometimes just feel so useless of myself. So many of my friends are all working out there in the holidays. I also want to work but due to circumstances, i can't. Sometimes I doubt my ability to survive in the working world too once I graduate. Am I thinking too much? Hope not. Sometimes I wonder, how would such a blur person like me be able to even pass an interview and get a job. Am I really destined for research work? At least, its my childhood dream to become a scientist. But am I realizing this just for the sake of making it come true? Maybe its just that I have not found passion in it, yet. One of my closer friends, Penyu who is now having fun in Taiwan before going to the U.S, even assured me that I will be a lecturer in the future. The reason being that I simply have the look.... well, its kind of lame lah... but even my mom said that too!!!! Argh.... do i REaLLy look so as said????
Let's see what comes, 3 years down the road. Guess what kind of job would be my first one after graduation?
Went to adjust the spectacles in the morning. Headed to SS3 to visit grandma after that. With a chiffon cake. Still the same old grandma.. asking me the same old question for 3 times:
~so how long will u be back this time?
~Wow so long!
~When will u be in Singapore again?
And after now and then, she will start telling stories that has never happened before.
Hmm... well well... that's her since about 2 years ago. Luckily still can recognise who we are. Went to 1 Utama for dinner. Italian food... the Carbonara was delicious! and the Stuffed Mushroom in Cheese sauce... argh... so tasty!!!! haha..but the price is not as delicious la...
Wonder how do the rest celebrate mother's day? Go out the whole day and let the mother rest for the day? LEt her shop till she satisfy? haha...
May all Mothers have a blessed and wonderful day. The love you give is the greatest and most unconditional of all forms of love in this world.
At 2.33am now, finally I have the mood to sit down here and blog about being at home. Hmm.. guess maybe I have more or less settled the mess that I have been in? Went to the National Registry Department (Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara) at Puchong Utama at 7.00am today. Was among the first 10 (to be exact i was the 8th) in the queue, and waited till about 8.45am to reach my turn. Overall it was ok. Haha... one thing i realized, the technology being used over there is somewhat sophisticated! Guess what they use: Flatscreen monitor and Laser Printer! Haha.. ok I think I sound a little too awkward here. Nvm. Anyway, nothing much there la. Basically just thinking rubbish there while waiting for the Office to open and for my turn to make a new I/C. At 9.00am, left the office and headed towards the Land Transportation Department (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan or JPJ) in PJ State (or New Town). Don't know why but the traffic was horrendously heavy that time along the LDP. Really so heavy that I decided to make a detour from later the Federal Highway and pass through the housing areas of PJ to reach the place. Got a number 1230, and waited for about 45 minutes (reached the destination at about 10.15am). And i got my new driving license on the spot. Overall, the entire process was far much smoother than what i expected. Afterall still not so bad lah. And guess what, i think i still can pass my simple Malay oral test la... just that maybe i lost 60% of my PMR level vocabulary and perhaps 30% of PMR level grammar. Haha.. Actually the title does not accurately reflect upon this la.. not really a new identity but new documents for the same identity. Well at least this is an experience and serves as a very important lesson to me. To the person who was not honest in the bus: not that I want to curse you, but having greed on such a small fortune will result in a bigger misfortune in the future. Good luck to you.
Went to Foong Seng at 10.30pm for a brief gathering with the Buckley gang. Haha... erm.. a really brief gathering till 11.20pm. After which rushed to ECP and stayed there to watch the sunrise. Was really a pleasant experience... to sleep on the sand (only at 4.45am) and to stay up although having spent so much time earlier in the day packing and then waking up at around 6.10am (effectively slept only for around an hour)... end up the rising sun was covered by rain clouds. Haha... not blaming anyone la... the last time i watched sunrise in East Coast Park in 17 October 2005 also didnt really realized. After that went to Yakun in Parkway Parade for breakfast! Haha... the breakfast was realy cool... wah... the half-boiled eggs.. imagine... finally a proper breakfast after 1 miserable exam month! Was really tired la the whole body... could feel that the muscles are growing stiff. But nevermind la... ehhe... afterall get to rest at the seaside... listening to the sounds of waves beating on the shore... the level of tranquility that it gave was just cannot be compared with anything else. Think I m going to save money to buy a tent and to stay overnight there every Saturday night. Haha... making ECP my paradise? hmm depends... coz I did see soomething that i don't like --> crowd!! Maybe it's just that weekend being the Labour Day weekend. hmm dunno
After the Yakun breakfast, I headed with cc to our junior's hostel at Victoria Hall. After which we headed all the way back to Bishan to see the Cat juniors. Well basically its still the same old them. Didnt change much. Afterall its only a year. Went back to RIB after having lunch with them and stayed there basically for about two hours. Had quite a good time there talking lots and lots of crap.
But then, after that it was the turning point of the whole day trip. My wallet got lost on my way back to Hall!!! What a thing to happen... after that immediately made a police report .....
Sigh.. no point mentioning about that... a big trouble indeed... now have to go through all sorts of procedures to get I/C and driving license....
